life can change in an instance.
and sometimes, it does.
seemingly a normal day, yet the next moment, everything changes.

it can be as simple as letting someone hold your hands while u walk down the streets;
the news of pregnancy;
a promise of commitment;
the first light of the sunrise.

it can be as dramatic as a broken heart;
the death of family;
the suddenly realisation of a stark truth that we have been blind to;
the first rumblings of an earthquake.

sometimes, life changes in an instance.
in many ways, in its own ways.
unexpected or prepared.
instantly, for everyone of us.

and then, we find ourselves in an entirely different situation from the last moment.

a certain kind of irony in life ..
